Who I Am…

From the quote above, you can probably tell how much I prioritize authentic connection with others. While I know I’m here to do a job, I am also here to curate an experience with you. If I’m disconnected from my work or my clients, it will translate into my imagery. I try to be present and involved enough that you feel comfortable with me, but never so present that I'm pulling you out of your own wedding.

It’s no secret that humans are the crux of my work/passion, and it’s because I love people! I love observing and capturing how people embrace their humanness. Whether it’s being a part of intimate private vows, or wading in the obscurity of a crowd, I always recognize how special it is to be a part of these moments. I am being entrusted to see/capture said moments, and that is no small privilege. At the end of the day, I’m always working to document each occasion authentically, in order to allow you to experience it fully.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m likely editing for hours at a time (lol), or I’m at a music festival practicing my poi moves (see more below). I am absolutely enamored by the music scene! Growing up in Denver means Red Rocks is basically like a second home to me at this point. I’ve met beautiful people and experienced much unbridled weirdness and it has greatly molded me into who I am today. Music photography is where my journey with a camera started, so the music community holds a very special place in my heart and always will. You can view some of that corner of my life below.
